Welcome to the Newark Church of Christ web site; a work in progress. We are happy that you have decided to check us out. Although you can’t tell a lot from this site, we are confident that you will discover enough about our personality, priorities, and purpose to rouse your curiosity. We think of our church family as ‘The Biggest Little Church in Wise County’ because of the size of our heart and the compassion we share for our community. We have a dedicated team of teachers and servants who work diligently to educate and minister to the needs of this area. We are devoted to Jesus Christ, His family, and His mission. We realize that we are not perfect but that we serve a perfect Savior. We know that God sent His Son to die for every person but only those who accept and obey Him will reap the blessings of His sacrifice. We realize that we all sin and therefore stand in need of the sin cleansing blood of Jesus Christ. We are casual in dress, gentle in spirit, and believe that our mission is to ‘seek and save’, not ‘judge and condemn’. It is our sincere prayer that you will check us out and experience the many blessings that we receive from our Lord Jesus each and every day.
